Garry Kasparov, Chairman of Human Rights Foundation

Garry Kasparov is a legend. A former world chess champion, a dissident and a human rights advocate. Kasparov is the newly named Chairman of the Human Rights Foundation. He has large shoes to fill as his predeccesor was Václav Havel, former and final President of Czechoslovakia.

We were fortunate to catch Mr. Kasparov for a few minutes just prior to him giving the closing address at the final dinner of this year’s Oslo Freedom Forum. At first, he was reluctant to try to discuss such broad topics when all he could spare were a few minutes. We’re pretty happy with the result, we think he managed to shine the light on some dynamics and ideas that could be useful for young professionals.

We also interviewed the CEO of Human Rights Foundation, that interview can be found here.
